Join North Brooklyn Neighbors for a workshop to learn about indoor air quality and what you can do to improve the air in your own home.
On average, Americans spend about 90% of their time indoors, and the concentrations of some air pollutants are much higher indoors than outdoors.
Participants will learn about what causes air pollution generally, some tips for how to improve indoor air quality, the health implications of poor indoor air quality, and will have the opportunity to learn about how to use the sensors available at Greenpoint Library to monitor the air in their own homes.
