Gerritsen Beach Library

Gerritsen Beach Library moved to its 10,000-square-foot facility in 1997. Designed to reflect the character of its waterfront home, the branch features an arched entryway, a clock tower and a two-story picture window overlooking the Shell Bank Channel. Residents today continue to participate in the library's many programs and activities, particularly quilting, a favorite of patrons. Gerritsen Beach Library's two large gardens are tended by the same active community groups that have supported this branch for the past 65 years.

Friends of Gerritsen Beach Library

Friends of Gerritsen Beach Library is a group of organized volunteers who help our neighborhood library through advocacy, fundraising and promotion.
