He presented it as a memorial to his parents, with whom he attended the church and Sunday School when the congregation met in a floating chapel, the John Wesley, which was anchored at the foot of Harrison St., in the early 1870's. the Rev. Yngvar Johnson and the Rev. Evan H. Bergwall are the ministers of the church."
