Exhibition label: My experience in Iraq by Lecia Whyte. “My experience in Iraq was actually history making.” The artwork shows Lecia and her fellow soldiers sitting in Saddam Husain’s palace. The wealthy palace is juxtaposed near the housing of the poor people who live in Iraq. A bomb exploding in the distance indicates just how potentially dangerous the environment really was.
