Exhibition label: My life, by Colegero Bongiovanni, cardboard, paper and drawing, 20 H x 30 W inches, 2012. Iraq War veteran Colegero Bongiovanni explores the dramatic changes that a war experience can bring about in one’s life. During his youth he had a very positive outlook but many of the things that he saw throughout his military experience were so sad that they brought him to tears. Since joining the Veterans Support group he has met other soldiers with whom he can connect because they understand his experiences. The program promotes support amongst the members of the group.
