Pretty much the opposite of Bubby’s Brunch Cookbook. It’s a book I explored earlier this year when I, you guessed it, went sugar free for a month and found a lot of delicious recipes inside—particularly for breakfast. Sugar Free will offer strategies for sweetening up your go-to oatmeal recipe with natural sweeteners and introduce other grains you may incorporate into your next breakfast!

For those who want the “set it and forget it” approach to oatmeal, you may consider using an Instant Pot or slow cooker. Instant Pot’s are having a moment for home chef’s across the country. While you may be using your Instant Pot for many dinners, it’s an easy way to cook up your oatmeal. The Ultimate Instant Pot Cookbook offers tips for making theperfect bowl for one serving or if you’re stocking up for the week! The Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal is particularly delicious.

Joy of Cooking is a cookbook that can be found on the bookshelves of many home cooks. It has a recipe for almost any dish you could imagine! Not only will it teach you ten ways to cook a potato, you’ll also find a recipe for oatmeal that will act as a great base for any flavors you want to add or toppings and mix-ins you want to explore.

So, do you think you’ll give oatmeal a try this winter? What are some of your favorite oatmeal recipes?
