First opened in 1951 in a Nostrand Avenue storefront, Kings Bay Library resides in a micro-neighborhood of Sheepshead Bay. In 1959, the branch moved across the street to its current, larger home. Kings Bay Library collaborates regularly with Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York to provide older adult patrons with a variety of programming including ZUMBA, low-impact exercise classes, health presentations, blood pressure screenings and more.

Friends of Kings Bay Library
