Bay Ridge Library

The Bay Ridge branch will be temporarily closed from Monday, June 15th until Tuesday, June 30th, 2026. This closure is to do probe work for a future HVAC replacement. The book drop will be closed during this time. Holds not picked up by Sunday, June 14, 2026 will remain in the branch and available for pickup on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Bay Ridge Library is one of BPL’s busiest branches, ranking in the top 10 for annual visitors, circulation and program attendance. The branch has served a large and diverse population since its opening in 1960. Today, Bay Ridge provides programs and collections for a neighborhood that includes speakers of Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Greek and Korean.

Friends of Bay Ridge Library
