Tony Birch is an Australian Aboriginal author, academic & activist. Join us for an in person discussion with Tony, who will be connecting live over Zoom from Australia about how he chooses his storylines and the impact of indigenous heritage on his works. There will be a chance to ask questions of Tony following the discussion.

He has written three novels, including his most recent bestselling novel, The White Girl.

His literacy awards include:

· Victorian Premier’s Literacy Award

· Patrick White Literacy Award

· Miles Frankin Award

Copies of The White Girl will be available to borrow.
