University Open Air: Immigration & the Poetic of Atlantics: an African Francophone Women’s Perspective
In Fatou Diome’s popular novel, The Belly of the Atlantic, we will examine how the artist crafted the poetics of Atlantic to explore themes such as immigration and self-discovery. We will draw parallels to Mati Diop’s movie Atlantics.
