Accessible Gardening Hour
Join Flatbush Library for an hour in our backyard learning garden helping to water and tend the plants, weed, and harvest vegetables for the community. We'll also have a variety of nature books to read and coloring pages for those who wish is sit and enjoy some time in the garden. A librarian will be on-hand to provide directions and assistance.
This program is open to all and specifically caters to older adults and adults with disabilities. Please note: garden access is through our side driveway. Not all parts of the garden are wheelchair accessible.
Weather permitting. Registration and masks optional.
