Author Reading and Activity: Dad Bakes
Join children’s book artist Katie Yamasaki on a visit to her Brooklyn studio, where we will read and discuss her latest book, Dad Bakes. Katie will talk about what inspired the book, and how we can use both books and murals to tell our stories and the stories of our community. We will wrap up the visit with a mural design activity inspired by the story. Please bring a paper and a pencil.
