Join us for the 2019 Big Brooklyn Book Sale

Clear off your shelves…

Drop your book donations near the Returns desk at Central Library during open hours.  Any materials sold at the sale will provide support to the Brooklyn Public Library collections and programs. Unsold material will be donated for resale with a portion supporting the Brooklyn Public Library.

And make room for more books…

On Saturday October 19, come to the Plaza for our annual book sale. There will be a huge collection of books, movies and music available in all genres and for all ages. (Rain location TBD)

Donation information
All books must be delivered to the Central Library Grand Lobby. Books cannot be dropped off or accepted on the plaza or loading dock. A tax donation form will be provided upon request, but donations can only be valued by a qualified book appraiser.
