BIPOC Dance Series: Learn African Dance
The New Lots Library cordially invites you to join us virtually for an evening of traditional African dance, with dance instructor, Caren Calder, from Urban Stages. Participants become the storytellers in a series of African folktales as our facilitator guides you through an interactive African Dance class.
This program will take place on Zoom and registration is required. A link will be sent the day before the program.
This program will be the first of several international dance styles that will be introduced in our forthcoming BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) dance series.
