BPL Presents, Atria Books and Simon & Schuster proudly co-present Charlamagne tha God’s BLACK PRIVILEGE PUBLISHING, for a special one-time event in Brooklyn!

Special guests are Tamika D. Mallory, iconic social justice leader and author of 2021 Kirkus Best Nonfiction Book of the Year, STATE OF EMERGENCY, and Anita Kopacz, author of the historical fiction novel SHALLOW WATERS, hailed by Harper's Bazaar as, "Spellbinding...A captivating debut."

Black Privilege Publishing was created to be a safe place where unapologetically Black voices tell their unapologetically Black stories—with freedom, bandwidth, and power.

Charlamagne, Tamika, and Anita will discuss where books have taken them in their lives, where they hope their books take readers going forward, and preview what’s next for this new imprint at Simon & Schuster.
