Learn how to create custom, on-trend beaded jewelry!

In each class we will learn a new beading technique and leave with a beautiful piece of handmade jewelry plus the know-how to continue creating. Necklaces, bracelets, pendants, and earrings- we will do it all! These lessons are perfect for those who have never made jewelry before and each technique will be presented with clear steps and patient guidance. Not only will we be making beautiful things, beading can be a wonderful exercise in mindfulness. Like yoga for the hands and head, it allows us to become completely enveloped with the task at hand. Join us in a fabulous journey of jewelry making and create an entire accessories wardrobe out of beads, cord, wire, and more.

Since we are doing this virtually, students will have to acquire their own materials.  The class materials list is as follows, and can be acquired either through various places on the web or, if you want to do this with less hassle, through the instructor's web site at https://beadonbond.com/collections/tools/products/gerritsen-beach-bk-library-students-supply-box.  She's agreed to give students in this class a special deal for a box with the necessary materials in it for $80 (significantly cheaper than the materials would be a la carte), and if you order your box this week (it should be listed 1/25 or 1/26), you should be able to pick it up from Gerritsen Beach Library on Monday 1/31 or Tuesday 2/1 afternoon of next week.
