About DSNY Community E-waste Recycling Events:

As of January 2015, it is illegal for New Yorkers to discard electronics in the trash. Community e-waste events are a convenient, yearly opportunity for residents to drop off their unwanted electronics in their neighborhood.

Accepted electronics including TVs, Monitors, Computers, Laptops, Printers & Scanners, Fax Machines, Keyboards, Mice, VCRS/DVRs/DVD Players, Small Servers, Hard Drives, Satelline Boxes, Tablets & E-Readers, Mobile Phones, MP3 Players, Video Game Consoles.

The following items will not be accepted at this event: Air Conditioners, Appliances, Batteries, Lightbulbs or Ballasts.
