Join Brooklyn to discuss book challenges, your favorite banned books, and BPL's Books Unbanned project. Learn how you can help youth across the country protect the right to read whatever they choose. 

In this session, we will be joined by Amy Mikel, BPL's Director of Customer Experience. Amy will share more info about how books get banned, what teachers and librarians think, and recommend a list of resources to learn more about what's actually happening with censorship and book challenges.
