The Center for Independence of the Disabled (CIDNY) now offers support for applying to NYC Care. A CIDNY representative will be available to answer questions about enrollment assistance for the program. 

NYC Care is a healthcare access program that guarantees services at little or no-cost to New Yorkers who do not qualify for or cannot afford health insurance. Unlock your right to affordable healthcare with dignity and respect, regardless of your ability to pay. Some services available through NYC Care include: 

  • Primary and Preventive Care 
  • Women’s Health 
  • Medications 24/7 
  • Eye Care and Glasses 
  • Alcohol, tobacco, and substance use 
  • Support Services for housing, food, and nutrition help
