The Outsiders Banned Books Week Teen Party!
Calling all greasers and socs! To kick off Banned Books Week, we'll be screening The Outsiders movie (1983, PG rating). We'll also be giving away brand-new copies of The Outsiders book by S.E. Hinton for the first 10 attendees, and special themed button pins for all attendees! Did you love the Broadway musical, or wonder what all the hype is about? How could such a phenomenal story be challenged in schools? Join us to celebrate the freedom to read with this iconic young adult story all teens will love! We'll have snacks too!
