Celebrate Pride Month with an unforgettable evening of film, conversation, and community at the Pride Is Justice Film Series, presented by Queer Voices NYC Film Festival in partnership with Brooklyn Public Library.
This special event features four powerful, award-winning short films that honor Black and Brown queer history, resilience, joy, and self-expression. Through intimate storytelling and bold perspectives, these films spotlight the voices, experiences, and legacies that continue to shape LGBTQ+ culture and community today.

This acclaimed short film imagines transgender activist and performer Marsha “Pay It No Mind” Johnson in the hours leading up to the historic 1969 Stonewall Riots, offering a moving portrait of one of the most influential figures in queer liberation history.
