Spring is here - and it's a great time to declutter, reduce, recycle and get some spring cleaning done in your home or office. Drop off your documents and paper items at Central Library in a locked and secure shredding bin. They will be treated as confidential, and shredded offsite by professionals and recycled responsibly.

Acceptable Items

  • White paper
  • Colored paper
  • Envelopes
  • Junk mail
  • Sticky notes
  • Paper with staples or clips
  • Newspaper
  • Cardboard
  • CDs (destroyed offsite)

Unacceptable Items

  • Blueprints
  • Food wrappers
  • Carbon paper
  • Napkins/tissues
  • Paper plates/cups
  • Tyvek envelopes
  • Binders (all kinds)
