Single Stop Free Tax Help By Appointment
The Flatbush Library on the second floor appointment-only in-person one-on-one tax preparation services with Single Stop.
Single Stop will be providing one-on-one tax assistance by appointment on Tuesdays from 1:00 am - 6:00 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
To make an appointment:
- Go to bit.ly/Brooklyn-Library
- Call 800-290-7189 or email TaxSupport@singlestop.org if you have questions or need to make an appointment by phone.
To participate you will need to:
- Have a valid email address
- Bring all necessary documents and information (Single Stop checklist)
- Meet the requirements for NYC tax assistance programs
- To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms.
- Masks are required
Wait times may vary, so please be mindful of your appointment time.
This service is offered by Brooklyn College in coordination with BPL.
