Slavic Arts Ensemble String Quartet Spring Concert
Welcome Spring with a concert by the Slavic Arts Ensemble String Quartet!
In the reading garden we will hear music composed by F. Chopin, H. Wieniawski and I. Paderewski.
Members of the Slavic Arts Ensemble include: Krzysztof Kuźnik -First Violin, Mieczysław Gubernat - Second Violin, Maurycy Banaszek - Viola, Marta Będkowska-Reilly - cello
The Slavic Arts Ensemble was founded in 1977 by Mieczysław Gubernat, a former orchestra member of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Poland, with the intent of presenting little-known Polish and Slavic compositions to American audiences and giving outstanding young musicians the opportunity to perform and gain the recognition they deserve.
