The Lunar New Year is an annual celebration that is observed in many Asian cultures - about 2 billion people around the world!
To help raise awareness and pay hommage to this popular celebration, the Park Slope Library will kick off with a brief video about the cultural meaning and importance of the Lunar New Year, followed by the Feature Presentation - a showing of the popular movie “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.”
Although the show is being hosted for our Young Adult community, ages 13 to 18, tweens ages 10 and up may also attend this special event, with parental permission.
This is a BYOP (Bring your own popcorn!) event!
NOTE: Registration is encouraged, to reserve a spot, but drop ins are welcome!
