Looking for some new skills in the kitchen?

Have you ever thought about cooking as a delicious scientific experiment?

Join us for hands-on cooking demos for teens, on the roof, in the Greenpoint Environmental Education Center.  We’ll focus on plant-based cooking, which utilizes more sustainable ingredients, and is produced using fewer fossil fuels, land and resources. We'll even use some ingredients from the garden!

All teens and tweens welcome!

Cookmobile Summer Rolls
 
Ingredients
Dressing:
2 limes (one zested, both cut in half)
1 clove garlic, unpeeled
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1-2 teaspoons fish sauce (optional)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
 
Rolls:
1 avocado
1 bunch basil
1 bunch mint
1 bunch cilantro
2 cucumbers
4 carrots
10 small rice paper wrappers
