Immigrant Services Virtual Programming writing workshop

Have you ever taken a stand for your beliefs or protested injustice? Did you go through a rebellious phase as a teenager or young adult? Does your family ever tell stories of ancestors who fought for freedom?

Bring your memories of rebellion and liberation to life with the award-winning Puerto Rican writer and “artivist” Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro. This hour-long workshop will help you find the words to tell your story—whether in English or in Spanish.

If you’d like, bring a photo or object to inspire your writing.
