  • SummaryThree images in two different sizes. Caption (0628): Joy of learning--As great an accomplishment as climbing a mountain, writing a novel, or landing a big business account is the mastery of putting a toy together by 3-year-old Joseph Pappalardo, a cerebral palsy victim. You can see the struggle to co-ordinate hand and eye in this series of pictures, culminating in the jorous realization that the peg is going to land in the right place. Joseph is one of 20 cerebral palsied children from 2 to 12 being cared for by the House of St.Giles the Cripple of Brooklyn at its convalescent facility in Garden City. ..."
