President Truman is shown applauding Francis Spellman as the archbishop of New York finished speaking to the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick here tonight and scoring Communism, which he declared was threatening the world with 'crucifixtion.' Cardinal Spellman, at microphone, supported the president's request for universal military training saying he was speaking 'as a private American citizen'." Both Images include several other unidentified men.
