  • SummaryTwo elderly firemen helping to pull fire wagon past reviewing stand at annual parade in Brooklyn Heights. Caption: "Reviewing the past: Hopelessly outdated for practical purposes, this old hand-drawn horse cart aroused more interest yesterday than a whole fleet of modern fire engines speeding to a three-alarmer. Decked out with flags and a picture of Washington, it is being hauled in front of the stand at Borough Hall, where Borough President Cashmore and other officials and guests reviewed the last annual parade of the Kings County Volunteer Firemen's Association."
