Typed label on verso: "A notable War Memorial in honor of the soldiers and sailors of the 61st District has just been completed by Charles Keck, eminent sculptor, and will be dedicated on Armistice Day, November 11, at [Fort] Hamilton Avenue and Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn. The figure 7 feet in height enshrined in a niche of Stony Greek Granite symbolizes Liberty. She is laying a cluster of Palms and Poppies on an altar bearing the names of 47 war heroes."
