After riding from the Oceantide Beach Club to the General Post Office near Borough Hall with mail from Coney residents, Mickey Henriques of 2236 E. 22d St, hands her first delivery to Letter Carrier Joseph Miranda of 135 11th lane. Protest petitions calling for a resumption of regular deliveries were also sent to Postmaster General Donaldson."
