Caption: "Imposing hall of justice--Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in Brooklyn, at Pierrepont St. and Monroe place, without doubt the most impressive modern structure on Columbia Heights. Opened in 1938, it took 18 months to build and it cost $2,000,000." Note: he building pictured is not the Appellate Division Court building, but the site of the building described.
