Creative Sound Sculpture Workshop
Hayes Greenfield's Creative Sound Sculpture Workshop is an interactive, workshop/performance for all ages, that transforms simple sound making into wonderful, collaborative, play-based Sound Sculptures.
Sound knows no language barriers, requires no special skills and draws upon all of our collective strngths and weaknesses. The only thing Hayes asks is that participants come with their ears and hearts wide open, tune into the moment, and are willing and able to follow simple directions.
All sounds will be generated by voices and body parts. No prior musical knowledge or experience is necessary. All musical instruments whether in the woodwind, brass, string or percussion families are welocme but are not all required.
Hayes Greenfield is an award-winning musician, composer, educator and author. His book Creative Sound Play for Young Learners was recently published by Routledge as part of their Eye on Education book series. It has been applauded by teachers, educators, school administrators and renowned developmental neuroscientists.
