Feng Shui and I Ching
A Feng Shui course, based on I-Ching's principles, particularly the concepts of Yin & Yang, Five Elements and Three Cycles. Participants will be able to understand the purpose of Feng Shui and how it affects every individual's life. Start by learning the basic principles of Feng Shui developed from the I-Ching's theory, and progress on to the 8 House theory, then the advanced Flying Stars Geomancy. Exercise one's ability to control the effects of energy in everyday environment. Use the Five Elements to remedy a home or office to maintain or improve health, reduce the chance of wealth lost and increase prosperity, and gain a sense of overall well-being.
This program takes place simultaneously in-person at the Central Library Information Commons and virtually via Zoom. Please note that the entire teaching will be recorded so that patrons who join later can play back and make up for the lesson.
If you are interested in attending the virtual program, please register using the registration box on this page. A Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the program. Registration for the virtual session closes at 4 pm the day before the program. If you are interested in attending in-person, simply show up to Information Commons Room 7 at the time above.
