Heritage Ambassador meet up: Music as a Cultural bridge

Welcome to our Heritage Ambassador public Meet up series where folk Heritage artists engage participants into the sharing of their artistic experience, skills and cultural heritage.

Our guest host, Peruvian singer and Heritage Ambassador 2023 Araceli Poma will share her experience as a cultural ambassador, preserving and promoting ancestral traditions through music and storytelling.

This interactive workshop explores the importance of keeping musical and cultural traditions alive over time. Through live music and storytelling, participants will discover how sounds, rhythms, and Indigenous languages remain relevant and continue to connect communities. Araceli will also discuss the visibility of Indigenous cultures in the contemporary world and how music serves as a powerful tool for social change.
