Heritage Ambassador presentation: Place matters with City Lore

The Heritage Ambassador program in partnership with  City Lore's presents the Place Matters program.

 

Places connect us to the past, host community and cultural traditions, and keep local environments distinctive. City Lore's Place Matters program was founded in 1998 to identify, promote, and protect treasured places in New York City that nurture and support grassroots creativity and community engagement. Join us for a presentation and conversation with Molly Garfinkel, City Lore's Co-Director and Place Matters Director, who will share diverse strategies that the program has utilized to celebrate, interpret, and conserve local landmarks and community anchors across the five boroughs.
