THE L.E.N.S. METHOD: A Five-Week Creative Photography Workshop for Adults
Connect with your neighbors and your creative side at The L.E.N.S. Method, Park Slope Library's photography workshop. Use your smartphone camera to explore the five pillars of emotional resilience: mindfulness, self-awareness, self-care, positive relationships, and purpose.
Over the course of five weeks, participants will take photos using Carey Kirkella's L.E.N.S. (Light, Empathy, Now and Storytelling) Method, then share the photos in a group setting. The series will culminate in a celebratory photography exhibition at Park Slope Library on Thursday, June 20, from 6–7:30 pm.
Each week is based on a different 'photo story prompt' inspired by one of the 5 pillars of emotional resilience. You can attend all of them to experience the full L.E.N.S. Method program, or you can attend as many as you would like—and you'll have the opportunity to participate in the culminating exhibit, showcasing your photos that you created inspired by these workshops.
