Mapping for Environmental Justice: A Geospatial Learning Lab

Explore the powerful intersection of environmental justice and technology in this interactive Geospatial Learning Lab, tailored specifically for young advocates aged 16-25. During this hands-on workshop, participants will dive into the world of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), gaining practical skills to map out environmental challenges and analyze data in ways that promote equity and justice. With real-world examples and expert guidance, you’ll learn how to harness cutting-edge geospatial tools to visualize and address pressing environmental issues, empowering you to become an advocate for change in your own community.

Workshop runs from 4-6pm

Environmental Justice in Tech Youth Mixer

But the learning doesn’t stop there. After the lab, join us for an Environmental Justice in Tech Mixer—a dynamic space designed to foster connections and collaboration. This is your opportunity to network with peers, share ideas, and engage in conversations with peers interested in tech innovation and environmental advocacy. Whether you’re passionate about tech, environmental issues, or social justice, this mixer is a chance to broaden your network, spark new collaborations, and explore how technology can be leveraged to create a more just and sustainable future.

Mixer runs from 6-7pm
