We'll tell you all about it later, but for now, here are digitized directories for 1856-1967. Spread the word!

The digitalized Brooklyn City Directories do not appear to be available. I get the following: "404: Page Not Found". Please advise. Thank you.

Would like to know my grandparents address in Sunset park in the mid 1920’s? Sadly I never thought to ask when they were still alive. Fredrik & Johanne Berntsen. They moved back to Norway in 1928 & 1929. Both were immigrants from Norway. Grandpa worked as a Forman with a carpentry firm. Thankful for any information that can help.

I found my great grandfather and great uncle in East NY. Although they had died before I was born, I did already know their addresses. Nevertheless, it gave me quite a thrill to see their names and to learn that they had telephones in 1934 when so many still did not. Thank you so much for putting the directories online.
