The Teen Tech Center features laptops (including MacBooks), cutting-edge technology and software, and collaborative areas for getting creative!
WHAT WE DO
The Teen Tech Center at Saratoga Library is more than just an interactive learning environment where teens can experiment with technology. It’s also a space to be creative, learn at your own pace, socialize with peers, meet professionals in the field of tech, and acquire skills for everyday life.
Teens ages 13–18 are encouraged to explore technology with their imaginations. Use the space to make art, music, animation, 3D objects, jewelry, fashion creations and beyond. To join the Teen Tech Center, visit Saratoga Library and ask to talk with a staff member.
MEET THE STAFF
Giovanni Griffiths, Teen Tech Center Coordinator
Giovanni started his BPL career working part-time at both Canarsie and Central Libraries before being promoted to New Lots Library’s Technology Resource Specialist (TRS) and eventually Saratoga Library’s Teen Tech Center Coordinator. He has offered many programs for teens, including developing a relationship with the Brooklyn Nets to give Brooklyn youth the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in sports and community relations. He has also created two successful programs related to technology and media, Buckets & Broadcasting and AniTomo, which were funded by BKLYN Incubator.
